Senior Advocate Prabhuling Navadgi is the new Advocate General for State of Karnataka

Governor of Karnataka, Vajubhai Vala has today appointed Senior Advocate Prabhuling Navadgi as the Advocate General for the state with immediate effect.

Navadgi replaces Madhusudan R Naik, who has resigned.

Navadgi was the first to be appointed to the post of ASG for Karnataka after the creation of the post in 2014. His term was recently extended by the Union Ministry of Law and Justice.

Prior to that, he was representing the Karnataka government as Additional Advocate General in 2011.

Navadgi was designated as senior Advocate in 2014 along with Aditya Sondhi, Sajan Poovayya, and Shashi Kiran Shetty.
